The Mercedes GL seven-seat SUV will be rebranded the GLS in next year inline with a wider rebrand in accross the range. The new facelifted GLS will be ready for display at the Detroit Motor Show which will take place in January. It is common opinion that the GLS’s facelift has come about in order to keep it competitive with it’s rival the Audi Q7 in a similar way that they have brought out the GLE as a direct competitor for the BMW X6 to do combat with.
Back to the GLS, from the spy shots, it seems that the GLS will get jigged up front bumper and bonnet, as well as a revised rear bumper. You can also expect to see the same infotainment system that debuted recently in the Mercedes Benz C Class. We are pretty uncertain about how things will change when it comes to the actual drive but there isn’t much to suggest that much will change.
